Great addition to my JL. The instructions were clear and east to follow. Appears to be a quality product.

I put a little Vibra-Tight VC-3 on the threads before installing, to help keep the screws in place while sliding the retention bar into the hood slot. I would hate to lose a screw down into the hood metal.

The hood struts are really something which Jeep should have included from the factory. The Redline kit comes complete with everything needed to get my Wrangler's hood to prop up like a modern vehicle should!

Seems to be high quality. Installed in no time, and (lucky for me) clears the power tray next to my battery. Once the hood latches are disconnected, it only takes one finger to pop the center hood latch, and the struts open the hood with authority. The struts are easily disconnected to lean the hood against the windshield.
