well i purchased their elite kit for my foxbody mustang which was the beat kit they offered but the struts were not strong enough to lift the hood so i had to buy stronger struts. so 130$ for the elite kit then another 60$ for the struts that actually lift the hood so i feel they should have offered a kit with the correct struts

In 2003 I bought a 02 Tacoma 4x4 and purchased Redline hood lifts the same year. These lifts 18 years later are just now starting to weakin'. So I purchased another pair for the same 02 Tacoma. Excellent quality product. I many times over got what I paid for.

I just replaced the struts on my 2008 TBSS. I had the Elite system installed for over 8 years and they just started to squeak when the hood was raised. So I bought replacement struts and everything is working perfectly again. Super fast shipping and great price! I would highly recommend the Redline Tuning struts for any vehicle.

5 of 5 Need these for heavier aftermarket hood May 18, 2016

Originally purchased the hood strut kit for my 2014 mustang gt and loved it.  After I switched to a BMC hood I wanted to retain the functionality of having hood struts like should have came from factory.  The hood struts that come with aftermarket rivet on style kit were too weak as most hoods are lighter but since mine was the super snake style the extra layers actually made it heavier.  These replacement struts work great just like the ones did on my stock hood!
