This system includes Quick-release end-fittings on the gas struts. This allows the user to easily remove the strut from the lower attachment and then place the hood all the way back onto the wind-shield. Just snap strut back in place when done and the system sill then work as intended.

  • USES EXISTING LOCATIONS FOR MOUNTING HARDWARE
  • QUICK-RELEASE - Rod ends have quick-release feature so that you can remove and lay the hood all the back against the windshield.
  • LIFTS & HOLDS HOOD without prop rod - just start to lift and let our Hood QuickLIFT System lift and hold up your hood.
  • MODIFICATIONS TO JEEP - For the 392 only, ECU bracket must be modified to allow room for our gas strut on passenger side. See installation manual for details.

FITMENT: Our Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 Hood QuickLIFT PLUS system is designed to fit Jeep 2021+ Wrangler Rubicon 392 models ONLY: 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025.

If you have any Wrangler or Gladiator made for the North American market (excluding the Mojave), you need lower force gas springs for the lighter OEM Aluminum hoods. Purchase the 21-20003-02. If you have a Mojave edition or Wrangler/Gladiator purchased outside U.S., purchase 21-20006-02 systems that we have created specifically for those vehicles.

This system is our QuickLIFT PLUS system which includes all-black mounting hardware and black e-coated gas springs with progressive slow-release over final inches of extension. The ELITE series is exactly the same with the exception of the gas struts, swapped out for 316L Stainless steel.

Easy install. Just a little trimming to the ECU bracket I didn't anticipate (I have the 392 Hemi), but easy enough. Directions were great (good thing I read them all). They work great to raise and hold up the very heavy hood. And the carbon fiber sleeves on the cylinders look great.

Lifts work great! Only issue I had was cutting the passenger side bracket for the 392; had no metal cutting tools so it took a while. It is sooo nice to have the hood open and stay without having to mess with factory rod (they should come this way stock!) Highly recommended.
