The struts work well and are very strong.
I dropped the part above and could not locate it. I requested a replacement part. Red Line sent me to a link where I could buy the replacement part for $18. I understand it was my fault that I lost the component, but $18 is 20% of the total cost of the struts hardware and all. I will not purchase Red Line again.
